Comments | No need to add much to Rocket21's admirably detailed account from a couple of days earlier. By Thanksgiving and then Friday, conditions were probably even better, as it remained cold and they were blowing snow all of both days. It did rain at the base Wednesday night, but changed over to snow and probably was all or mostly snow higher up. We were amazed how many corduroy cruisers were available so early in the season, as five chairs, including the Summit Gondola, were running to the Summit, Snowdon and Ramshead. Saturday and Sunday, we watched Mikaela and her friends do their thing. Her Slalom runs were hard to believe - worlds above the rest on sheer ice. Some excellent bands between runs. |
