Comments | The Gondola, Seven Brothers, and North Peak lifts were operational today. On North Peak the open trails were Sunset, Haulback, Lower Walking Boss, and Lower Flume. Lower Flume had active snow making, and was not groomed. Sunset and Lower Walking Boss were groomed well. From the Loon Peak the usual trails were open Picked Rock, Flying Fox, and Bear Claw. They were groomed well The West Basin lifts were not running but Rampasture and Blue Ox were open with a cutoff back to Picked Rock to the Gondola. Skied off the North Peak lift to start out. Snow conditions were nice. Went down to the Octogan Lodge for a break. When I came out the lift line at the Gondola and Seven Brothers was huge. Apparently the North Peak lift had shut down for a while, and everyone went to the Gondola. Instead of waiting in a huge line I packed it in and headed over to Bretton Woods to check out their new Gondola. | |
