Comments | Excellent conditions continued for opening weekend. Bottlenecks on Blueberry were mitigated by lack of hardy souls to brave the cold. Must be record cold. Anyway, the lower lift thermometer read 10, the top lift thermometer read zero. VERY gusty winds. Lots of snowmaking (on closed trails) continued. Not too many choices for descent but you could still find fun things to do - it was the lift that seemed slow or cold or both.... I had planned to stay 2 hours but called it quits after 1.5 hours - I was just frozen solid at that point. Still, fun. Very flat light on some trails made things a bit tricky. They got the RFID system working - yay! Lifties and everyone was very friendly, as usual. |
