Comments | Really good conditions for opening day. They had some trouble with the RFID system - particularly for season passholders - they finally just manually removed the gates. Also, you have to really ski/ride defensively, particularly through the bottlenecks on Blueberry Patch - one small out-of-control child skier barely missed me then flew off into the trees - I assume he was found - he was well behind me at that point. Once they open up a second route down from the top, things will vastly improve. They were making a LOT of snow on closed trails today so more should be opening quickly. Trail conditions were very edgeable with the occasional chudder snow. |
