Comments | Blue Ox trail was added to the mix today for a total of 15 open trails. Blue Ox and Lower Picked Rock were still mostly ice balls and crushed ice. But they were better than Picked Rock was yesterday. Snow making was in progress on lower Seven Brothers until about noon. Huge, soft whales formed. This trail was nice to ski on in the afternoon. Crosscut had features set up near the beginning, and the rest of the trail skied very nicely. But to get to it you have to take Flying Fox, which was very icy at the steep, curved section. Temps were in the single digits to start out, and it was sunny all day. Only the Gondola and the East Basin chair were running. Seven Brothers Lift was listed in the report as running, but was not. Rumor was that it was due to lack of staffing. The gondola line was 15-20 minutes for most of the day. | |
