Comments | Found myself at the front of the liftline today for the opening of the Gondola! Shared the first ride with Cort--he told me many years ago he snagged first chair when the Zoomer lift at Cannon opened too. The cabins are very nice. I only skied the first hour and the groomers were all out pushing and grooming the snow to open more trails later in the day. From the top of the gondola Outer Bounds to Range View was what was open. Outer was more frozen granular while Range View was amazing packed powder with a view today (no snowguns). I think Ben and Crawford's Blaze opened later but I had to leave. Fabulous early conditions and the new gondola is amazing. |
