Comments CommentsQuite a bit of snow remaining for May. Jet Triple and Bonaventure Quad were operating. Jet was typically a 2-3 chair wait, while Bonaventure was ski-on. Healthy crowd, but never crowded. Most of the mountain had been groomed overnight, but was soft from the get go.

From Bonaventure to Tramside, Upper Goat Run to Lower Goat Run or to Lower River Quai to Perry Merrill were open. A few thin spots, but generally good coverage. Tram side could have easily been open.

Northway was also open all the way, as well as Angel's Wiggle (one narrow spot), Pugatory (good) Hell's Crossing (a few narrow spots), and Taxi (a couple of bare spots to hop over).

From Jet, Haynes and Jet were just about wall to wall with good coverage. Upper Hotshot Derick and Upper UN were also open, though one had to keep an eye out for rocks. Kitzbuehel was also open, but the bumps were a bit big for my taste (and the top of the headwall was just barely passable). On the second run on that, I bailed into Kitz Woods, which had full cover and skied well. Montrealer and Cat Walk were also open with generally good coverage.

Rare blue sky and warm temps. Closing day, but there's enough snow to keep going.
