Comments Comments10AM for first spins today, kind of late to me but now down to local folks and serious skiers - employment and recreation.

Valley chair was the only lift in service, but Gate House chair was running slow for employees I think. Spring Fling, Snowball, Racer's Edge, Lower Organgrinder, and Lower Jester were groomed. Reverse Traverse and Coffee Run were in use for getting over toward the Super Bravo complex and the run out back to Valley chair. They were all in great shape in the morning but heavy and beat up in the afternoon by the 30 or so folks around.

Birdland under Super Bravo,as well as Murphy Glades were left natural and a lot of fun. Reverse Traverse could be taken all the way out to Lower Jester above the Heaven's Gate juncture and this part was natural, soft and fun. Stein's Run had been previously groomed for the weekend, and is now natural and bumped up pretty good. Soft enough today to play around without much fear, also saw its fair share of action.

They're aiming to be open until Cinco de Mayo but the difference from Sunday to today says otherwise. Get it while it's good.
