Food and Beverage | $4.95 for a Hot cider and Cider donut in the Bullock Lodge Cider House, on Lower 10th Division, is money well spent. They have one of the hotter wood stoves I've known, but a prominent warning sign and screen deter mishaps. |

Comments | They'd lost a lot of cover since two weeks ago but still were in more than decent shape on April 5 - Friday of the last weekend of an average snow season. Balance Rock, Norm's Way and Mass. Pike had closed in the interim, but all the major Trails were still open, with not too many bare spots, most of them marked. Very little ice even though it was still just below freezing at 9 am, remaining there until noon or so at the summit. Surfaces were mostly very firm, nonetheless, as there was no real sunshine to soften things up. |
