Comments | Took the morning off because of the better weather, but snow conditions probably would have been better this afternoon (with some softening). Nevertheless, decent skiing for late season. South Peak is closed for the season and today was the last weekday of West Basin. East Basin was closed this morning (Cant Dog, Angel Street, Big Dipper, etc.), as the trails hadn't been groomed and looked to be pretty firm. Noticed a little carnage from the lift, but they'd presumably be skiable in warmer weather. Upper Flume was also closed, while Lower Flume was a little scratchy but okay, as was Walking Boss. Sunset skied nicely. West Basin was pretty firm but edgable. Race trails were a little icy. Upper Loon Peak trails were decent. Blue skies this morning and minimal crowds. | |
