Comments | Campton Mountain is open day and night this holiday week.
Cold, but clear evening. Two out of three trails open (Tailspin closed; somewhat icy headwall). Lazy Eights had decent coverage, while Glide Path had a few avoidable thin spots. Lower Lazy Eights now has snowmaking capabilities (e.g. the rope tow section), courtesy a single TechnoAlpin fan gun. An employee said they pumped 350,000 gallons of water to put 3 feet of snow on that slope. |
