Comments | Took advantage of NH resident Wednesday ($44+5 for RFID). Both conditions-wise and visually (lots of rime in the upper elevations), one would never know it was a bad winter. Majority of trailed terrain was open and a few more trails (Upper Chief, White Lightning, Rolling Thunder) have large piles curing and should be good to go soon. Bitter cold winds for much of the day made riding the bubble chairs very appealing. Excellent groomed conditions across the mountain, even at the end of the day. Only ice to speak of was at the top of the 6 pack (scoured by high winds), but not an issue once on trail. Best snow was probably on the trails to skiers left of the 6 pack and South Face. Never more than a few chair waits on the lifts and no trail congestion allowed for 20 runs. | |
