Comments | A smooth, silky, packed powder day at Loon. The weather was warmer than yesterday so the snow was not as squeaky. Got on the Gondola at 8:00 and made a few runs on it before any lines formed. Walking Boss, Flume, and Angel Street were all in great shape. It was not that busy today, the North Peak, West Basin, and Lincoln Express Quad lines moved quickly. Skied until 1:00. South Peak had a few skied off spots on the headwall of Twitcher and Jobber, but otherwise was good. Ripsaw was roped off. Not sure why, the daily report listed it as open. Many people left early to prepare for the game. |
