Glades | many were open - the flatter ones were SUPER fun!!!! Banshee Glade was untapped early on. Later, Mittersill was REALLY amazing!!!!! |

Comments | Toss up to head here or Ragged but SO glad I came here!!! The fresh snow made a perfect "dust on crust" situation. The flatter glades and unnamed trails at Mittersill were almost all fresh - it was CRAZY. Anything groomed was a bit too firm for me. Vista was really great and Upper Cannon was pretty fun. Skylight was a bit too firm as was Skyline. I basically spent a couple hours at Mittersill to round out my morning. I like the relaxed speed of that lift. From there I headed to snowshoe up Cannon (via Kinsman Ridge Trail) at mid-day. Such amazing views!!!! |
