Comments | What a good day! Snowed light-moderately all day on top of the 5"+ from the last couple days. Great conditions all around, ungroomed looked fun even though I didn't hit them myself. Nice cover over the base, some groomer tracks still showing when I left about 3:15. Very low crowds, peak was probably around 11:30. Flying Yankee was closed, they made snow on it starting after lunchtime. Expanded snowmaking to the bottom of Cardigan later in the afternoon. Sweeptstakes was closed, had nice snow but ungroomed. Lower Exhibition was ungroomed, but looked fun. The wind picked up after lunchtime, so a few trails had some snow blown off, but were defnitely still skiable. Minor patches of hard ice showed up, but there was enough powder to turn toward if you were on your game. Great day. |
