Comments | This storm was just what Crotched needed! The storm dropped 3+ inched across the mountain, which freshened things up, and even brought a few of Joshua's famous glades into play. The new snow on top of a groomed surface made for fun turns. It snowed until around noon, and then cleared slightly. Every trail was open, except for Comet Drop. Joshua showed me the best route through Solstice Glade, and I also skied a chute in Final Frontier Glade and the old T-bar line. The day started with just the West and Valley lifts running, but the rocket was de-iced by noon. |
