Comments | It was a cold but sunny day today. The morning temperature was around zero, and by the afternoon it got up to a balmy 19°. Skied out of the Barker Lodge today on trails serviced by the Barker Mountain and Spruce Peak lifts. The Locke Mountain chair lift was closed today. The cold temperature brought firm snow conditions on all trails. Snow making was in progress along the bottom and top of the Barker Mountain lift. Sunday Punch was mostly boilerplate, the section just below the Locke Mountain mid station was especially icy. Ecstasy, Jungle Road, Cascades, and Wildfire were good. Monday Mourning was closed for race training. Top Gun was open but had active snow-making. Right Stuff was boilerplate and icy also. Lazy River to Tourist Trap back to Barker skied well. Rode the new (last year) Spruce Peak Triple for the first time. American Express and Risky Business skied well. |
