Comments | Nice day today at Loon. There were 54 trails open and 10 lifts were operating. It started out busy but by 11:00 AM the wait at the lifts was minimal. Stayed away from the Gondola though. The snow started out as soft packed powder and then softened into a more creamy texture as the temperature warmed up. Triple Trouble and Big Dipper were open with a decent coverage of what appeared to be natural snow cover, and no moguls. Seven Brothers was good. Upper Picked Rock had a bit of exposed ice in the afternoon. Did not venture over to South Peak. |
