Comments | Absolutely terrific. Ungroomed portions were buttery and yummy for turns - some blank canvas still available mid-day. Coming down Showboat and just floating down the center was amazing first thing!!!! Upper Crewcut also similarly fun!!!! Ungroomed edges (skier's right) of Showboat (VERY thin coverage) were super-fun to poke around. Hey - if the woods aren't in, you gotta find the challenges!!!! Snow was very spring-like everywhere and edges were great!!! Groomed portions of runs were super-fun also. Just an excellent morning. Terrific views. From there, I made my usual stop at the Danbury Country Store for pizza & whoopie pie and headed back south. |
