Comments CommentsGot kind of crowded mid/late morning, especially on the lift at the front five. Started my day at the top - was quite firm but edgeable up there. Did everything but Profile up topside - I generally avoid Profile if it's firm. Dropped into Taft at at the lower entrance and was pleasantly surprised at how creamy the snowmaking whales rode - it was just super-fun. Sure, I had a few washouts and the yard sales there were fun to watch, but, i did it a couple times and fun each time. Paulie's was also terrific - lots of spring snow and no ice was showing yet. I only crossed over Avalanche but it looked similar to Paulies - by then I was tired so I called it a day late morning. Most trails were very spring-like, it was fun to get them before it all sets up with the deep freeze, then incoming rain. They have definitely stored up a lot of whales of snow!!!!
