Comments | An outstanding day today, it was my favorite day so far this season! Partly sunny sky with mild temperature in the 30's softened the snow up nicely. Lift lines were short at the Kank Quad and North Peak Quad. It was the annual Demo Day today at the Governor Adams Lodge, many vendors participated. South Peak also opened for the season today with Boom Rum, Cruiser, Jobber, and Upper Twitcher trails. I did not make it over to South Peak today as I participated in the Ski Demo. Snow conditions on Loon Peak, North Peak, and the West Basin were soft packed powder. Upper Walking Boss had snowmaking whales, and lots of soft moguls. Upper and Lower Flume are now open, groomed nicely with soft snow. Upper and Lower Speakeasy are also now open. Moguls developed toward the end of Upper Speakeasy. Lower Rumrunner also recently opened. |
