Comments | Basically three top to bottom trails skiable with some other options as well. Upper Bittersweet was not groomed, as the snow is going quickly. High Road to Bittersweet was groomed and still had good coverage, except for the final runout, which was a cat track wide. Skylark top to bottom was decent. Not wall to wall anymore, but still plenty wide. Skyehawk was "open" but the top few dozen feet was bare and the rest of the headwall narrow. Nivi's Walk was living up to its name, as the skis had to come off at least once this morning (second bare stretch was wide enough to ski one legged). Ovation was "open" but walking was required, so I did not partake. Superstar was wall to wall, top to bottom. No weak spots showing yet, but the headwall doesn't have nearly as much base as the rest of the trail. Cloudy morning, but the rain held off. We managed six runs before ditching the skis and hiking to the summit (should be noted Great Northern has been plowed, so earned turns may not be that great in that direction...Downdraft on the other hand had wall to wall coverage still). | |
