Comments | Great snow conditions for the next to the last day of the season. About 5" of powder fell at night after the trails were groomed. The annual pond skim contest was today. The Gondola and North Peak quad were the only lifts operating. Almost all trails serviced by these lifts were open. The West Basin and South Peak areas have closed for the season. However it was possible to ski through some of the West Basin trails. Rampasture and Blue Ox were accessible via Upper Speakeasy, then cut over to Lower Picked Rock to get back to the Gondola. Loon will close for the season tomorrow, but there is ample snow coverage for at least another week. |
