Ticket Type | Discount from Ski Area |

Lift Lines | 0 minutes |

Trail Conditions | 85% open; Loose Granular, Spring Snow |
Glades | The new Stickney Glades T-Bar wasn't working but quite a few other glades were open, with what looked like a reasonable amount of cover still. Not my thing. |
Moguls | I saw minor bump sections on one or two ungroomed trails I omitted. |
Terrain Park(s) | They must have one but I didn't encounter it. |
Run of the Day | High Ridge/Upper Swoop/Cascade/Diamond Ridge/Deception Bowl/Almost Home |
Food and Beverage | Chicken tenders, french fries and a 20-ounce bottled soft drink would have cost you $17. Substitute a hot chocolate and that would be $18. Fountain beverages are available only from the upstairs bar. I'd consider the restaurant, although I haven't eaten there in years and didn't check the menu. I brought my own refreshments. |

Comments | I mostly skied groomed trails and they had wall-to-wall cover with no bare spots, except a small one on the short, steep section of Bode's Run. My few ungroomed trails were spottier, especially the lower half of Jacob's Ladder, which showed a lot of dirt. Very firm corduroy to start, around 9:30, but the sun came out and by noon the snow was mostly heavy spring stuff - tiring. Not much of a crowd, as usual this late on a weekday, but of them hardly anyone made it over to the West Mountain Express, so those trails were like a private domain.
At least among the larger NH areas, BW has the best early/late season deal for Seniors - $25, and advance purchase not required. |
