Comments | Chattery frozen granular conditions as a result of the warmer daytime temperatures giving way to cooler late afternoon/early evening temperatures. Lesser used trails skied better, whilst the more heavily used trails were firm and uneven. Snowpack thin in places, especially on the west side. Jupiter Storm and Satellite Summit still had good coverage and good loose granular conditions. Moonwalk was choppy. Blast Off is closed. Retro had a grooming pass across it. NCC 1701 has been de-parked and groomed out. Galaxy was choppy in places. Big Dipper was closed. Magnitude is getting thin in places. Meteor was very choppy. Eclipse is closed. Pluto's Plunge is getting thin in places with dirt getting tilled up. UFO had some golf balls, but Equinox was decent. Velocity was decent. Shooting Star is closed. Comet Drop is getting thin, with dirt expanding across the top. Super Nova also has dirt showing up. Zero G/Comet slope has random dirt patches hidden on the back side of the jumps. Re-Entry is getting thin. Probably less than a dozen skiers on the hill, not counting a few racers having a short practice. Way overstaffed, especially considering the lack of skiers. Clear skies; calm before the storm. | |
