Comments CommentsWith the storm forecast, we had the place nearly to ourselves - first-tracks corduroy heaven! The heavy snow started a little earlier than forecast - around 11 - but we only had a few miles' drive home.

"Variable conditions" applies only to the two Double DIamonds, adjacent on the back side. Pine Brulée hadn't been groomed in at least the last go-round and had icy unevenness, but not terrible.

The groomed backside trails - Red, Slalom and Jack - had better snow, just firm enough, than the front trails, possibly because the front trails get a lot of sun and thus have more melt-and-freeze. That is nit-picking, however, as all the groomed trails were very good.
