Comments | Because of a big race, Big Blue and Beer's Bluff were closed until 12:15. We then got one run on each before it started to rain significantly. Those were our two best of the day. They had a SuperSunday special price of $25 for an adult full day (vs. $45 regular). Before 12:15, our choices were Chute/Revolution or Patriots Way. Chute had bare spots to begin with, including a rock I hit, and by 10 am was pretty much skied off. Patriots Way, appropriately, was in much better shape and held up well. But for the racers and their families, the Area would have been sparsely populated. It has significantly more vertical than Nashoba or Ward and I'm glad I finally skied there. The 93 traffic is a deterrent other times but was light this morning. I bought a Superbowl square to support their ski team, called "Prospect Hill" rather than "Blue Hills," I assume because they originated at that nearby lost ski area. Go Pats! | |
