Comments | Skied a couple hours this morning at Mt. Ellen. Only one route from the summit but decent snow on the top third of the mountain. Fun scattered bumps on Rim Run along with some crusty powder that required a little extra effort to make turns in. Below the top of GMX groomed terrain was icy and/or golf balls. Ungroomed skier's right side at the bottom of Straight Shot had a line of at least 5 waterbars that made perfect kickers, surrounded by aforementioned crusty powder. Not as much terrain as Lincoln Peak but not as many people either. |
