Session SessionFull Day
Lift Ticket Ticket TypeSeason Pass
Lift Lines Lift Lines3 to 5 minutes
Snow Trail Conditions60% open; Loose Granular, Powder
Glades GladesThere were a couple glades and all natural open however I did not scope them out because I was hesitant with the amount of snow presently on them at this point in the season.
Moguls MogulsLower Flume on North Peak was terrific! There were powdery bumps although there were patches of ice along the trail itself.
Terrain Park Terrain Park(s)Their Springboard Park was open and noticed it in passing while I was skiing throughout the day.
Run of the Day Run of the DayCruiser
Food and Beverage Food and BeverageI had an excellent Chilli Mac and Cheese in the Pemigewassett Lodge on South Peak. It was around $9 so it was a bit overpriced but that's what you come to expect at some of the mountains today.
Comments CommentsNorth Peak:
I took a couple runs off of North Peak and the Lower Flume trail was nice and bumpy. I also took a run off of Angel Street down to North Peak and that was nice because there was passing snow squall that refreshed the trail throughout the afternoon. Upper Walking Boss was a bit skied off on North Peak because of the wind.

Loon Peak:
I took quite a few laps from Upper Speakeasy to Upper Ramrunner to Lower Ramrunner was spectacular to go to the Kancamangus Quad. The Seven Brother trail was skied off and was fairly icy. I recently got my skis tuned so I was able to carve in but many beginners were falling on lower part of this trail. The Brookway trail that leads you back down to Loon from North Peak was in decent shape compared to how it usual. It was alright on Loon.

South Peak:
It was opening day and was surprised with the conditions that groomers were able to put out with an initial opening of this area. There were the "death cookies" found on Boom Run however the Cruiser Trail on South Peak was in excellent condition for it's first day of being open. I took about 5-6 laps down these trails and was very happy. They were also making snow on a couple other trails along this peak.

Please take a look at the photo album to take a peak at the afternoon snow squall that occurred at Loon!
