Food and Beverage Food and BeverageSchwendi Hut had a brisk business all day! 24 oz bottle of Same Adams was $10.50--good to share. Saw the largest plate of Mac & Cheese every served to anyone and they said it was yummy. Inside and the deck was very full!
Comments Commentsfriday, March 31st was the annual $1 April Fool lift tickets (and a request for an additional donation for the Adaptive Program). Quad running full all day. Lots of people here, I didn't get there until 10;30 am and I had to at the beginning of lot 8! Good snow nearly everything open, High Country is still closed. Good snow and granular snow, good thing it was cold so the snow held up well. There are few thin/icy spots on True Grit. Oblivion seemed to be the choice route of the masses, always crowded. Lots of fun and good views and it only spit snow on us later in the afternoon. One fellow in our group hit a red squirrel near the bottom of the mountain and it didn't end well for the small fellow. We removed body off the trail and into the woods. We rode the new Green Peak lift, very nice and we look forward to more Green Peak ski trails next season.
