Comments | New Hampshire's first net new ski area in decades. I found it a little bit of a struggle to locate the parking area, as the technology park roads are circuitous and not well signed. GPS very helpful. I bought my ticket online ("reservations"), which took care of the liability waiver ahead of time. The tickets are actually wristbands. The snow park is currently two slopes bisected by a magic carpet lift. Both slopes were open with wall to wall coverage (natural snow only). Perhaps 4 or 5 skiers/snowboarders here around 5:30-6PM. This ski area will never been Stowe or Pats Peak or Granite Gorge, so decent skiers will not find it worthwhile. That said, it is ideal for people learning to ski, young kids, and those who spend most of their time in terrain parks. In future years, more terrain could be added (still very low on vertical) as well as tubing, the latter of which could take off if done right. Good to see another feeder area! | |
