Comments | After a disappointing morning at Sugarloaf, I salvaged the day with a few afternoon hours at Saddleback. The sun never came out, so the anticipated spring skiing did not materialize. Nevertheless, the skiing was better than at Sugarloaf. Kennebago area is just about toast. Only Tri-Color and America were open. Seems like Tight Line could open if they groom it or it warms up. The natural trails beyond Tightline look to be mostly bare. The snowmaking trails on the main mountain are holding up. A few natural ones, such as Peachy's, may have enough snow left to reopen when conditions are softer. Did not venture down to the lower mountain due to the glacial fixed grip quad (that thing crawls!), but it looked like there were multiple trails still open. |
