Comments | 62 of 62 trails, 7 of 11 lifts, 35-53°F, clouds, dense fog upper 2/3 of the mtn, light wind that strengthed after 1pm, spring snow variable conditions. It did not get below freezing the night below over most of the mountain. Did not appear that they were able to groom very much. Hard to tell in the fog. Alot of cover lost in one night. Widening bare apots, slush water flows, etc, etc.... The visibilty was not good at times on the upper mtn. Fog droplets on lenses turned to drizzle after lunch then light rain at 1:30. We quit at 2 pm. They were racing on the WC. Kinda congested down at the finish. They built a small terrain park behind the finish line bldg, so with people milling arround, specators walking up, skiers coming down from the leftside of the mtn...doesn't seem like a safe mix. |
