Food and Beverage | Three meals were provided at the event. Lunch and dinner were very good, I did not partake of the bratwurst. However, the dinner had to be rescheduled from Friday to Saturday due to a power outage. |

Comments | This Meister Cup got off to a weird start. On Friday afternoon, high wind caused a power outage in North Conway (and as far north as Jackson). The New England Ski Museum volunteers were struggling to register racers and set up the Pop-Up Shop in the lodge. They made a valiant effort and eventually got the event up and running smoothly. Kudos to them! When it finally got too dark to continue, we all headed off to Center Conway, which still had electricity, to find a restaurant. We did in the end. The next day, things ran smoothly. Conditions were a mix of packed granular, ice, and deep, gushy granular. It was rather tiring. But we all had fun throughout the day. All's well that end's well! |
