Comments | Edit: 4:30pm no power in Jackson, N Conway, Bartlett. Wind howling. Stories of large trees and broken poles in Bartlett. Power came back on at 8:30pm. The ride up Rt 16 that morning was a little hairy. Getting blown all over the places, branches coming down. One of the shortest ski days on record. Arrived at noon and they lost power on our 2nd lift up on the summit double. Not in good spot to evac either. After 15 mins they ran us off on the midstation. They are closed for the day. The word is Wildcat then Attitash closed this morning. Wildcat due to the wind, Attitash no power. The entire MWV has no power according to reports. The mtn staff was great before and during the Blackout. They allowed us to use cash or the honor system to get food and drink. Indy redemption too a lot longer than expected at the home of Indy. I don't get why they need to take another photo when they already have a photo on the pass. |
