Food and Beverage Food and BeverageI think they had three different eateries operating today - the cafeteria, the pub/bar, and then some sort of coffee and snack thing at the Witch's Hat (former ticket office).
Comments CommentsThe double chair is reportedly closed due to a gearbox issue and isn't expected to re-open until later in the month (seems like there would only be at best a few days of operations, since I think they have snowmobile races scheduled later in the month), so tickets are currently $50 for the triple chair and platter pull area. If you buy online, they don't currently assess the $5 RFID charge.

They groomed most of the trails off the triple after the inch of snow fell last night, so it was pretty smooth cruising on the novice/intermediate terrain. The one expert trail, Black Sheep, was down to dirt/rocks on the pitch. Some grass sticking up on Hall's Meadow below it. A portion of Jacob's Ladder was ungroomed and was good, so long as you avoided the rocks on one side. Snowmaking trails seemed to have decent coverage. Gem of the day was the portion of Shooting Star that was accessible - the inch of powder on top of previous corduroy was great.

I also took lower Half Moon to EZ Street (I think) and walked across the road to ski down Jackie's Junction. Only lift line of the day was the platter ride back up, since every other carrier is for tubes only. A bit of walk to get back to the base area after (looks like they had an occasional pickup truck/trailer shuttle, but not sure how often it runs).

Even with a rail jam scheduled, it was not too busy. Not empty, but the chairlift was ski-on and I generally had each trail to myself. Main parking lot was almost full when I left around 11.
