Comments CommentsThis day was a crazy one! The day started off cloudy. Shortly thereafter, a r**n squall (what, you expect me to swear on here? Kids read this...I think) moved in. However, above Tower 2 of Eclipse, it became a mix of r**n, sleet (you can still ski on sleet), and snow, and by the top section of the lift, heavy snow. After about 20-30 minutes, however, it was over, and headed towards Waterville! Then the sky turned a clear blue before slowly clouding over again. Tip: if you suddenly cannot see the wind turbine that is directly in line with Eclipse, you are about to get some serious weather. Ask me how I know. Hopefully next week Hornet's gearbox can be dropped and sent out for overhaul, and then returned, and all will be well in the Snow Bowl.
