Comments | Weird weather day. Temperatures in the lower 40s down low with sprinkles of rain, but snow flurries and squalls up high. Lower third of the mountain was spring snow, middle third boilerplate, and upper third or so had a trace to almost an inch of new snow. Never more than a chair or two wait (gondola had a longer wait, but singles line was almost instant), despite it being New Hampshire vacation week. Every lift except for the two doubles was running. Heard there were a lot of stops on the Kanc8, but my one ride was fine. Appreciated that they started loading on the South Peak side 10 minutes early. Only closed trail I encountered was Undercut (too many boulders/stumps). Snowmaking trails had plenty of coverage. Triple Trouble had some grass and random rocks up high, but was fairly smooth on the lower angle portion. |
