Comments | Powder day at Sugarbush, as an inch or two fell overnight and into the morning, on top of the new snow received during the week. With Slidebrook still closed and expected crowds, I didn't bother with Sugarbush South, as I was more eager to ski Sugarbush North. Everything except Inverness and Brambles (closed for racing) was open. Still a few rocks here and there (such as lower Black Diamond Rush and in a few troughs on Exterminator and Lower FIS), but generally pretty good cover. Hit lower FIS twice (once via Spin Out and once via South Bound) because the snow was so nice in places. All chairlifts were running except Slide Brook, which still hasn't opened this year. The work chair was on it and they were testing the auxiliary this morning. Lines started to build later in the morning, but nothing too too bad. |
