Moguls | Only bumps were on the pitch of 10th Mountain Trail but they were practically unskiable due to boilerplate ice between them |

Comments | A cold night of skiing last night with a less-than-ideal snow surface, but I was able to get a good amount of runs in thanks to short lift lines. Temperatures were in the low to mid teens, the skies were clear, and there was little to no wind. The snow was a thin layer of loose granular over boilerplate, making for fast and firm conditions. The main lifts had a bit of a line when I started around 7:00 but apart from that I never had to wait more than a few chairs. There was racing/training on both Challenger and Piece of Cake but I was able to ski both of these trails once those programs ended. Crews were turning on a few snow guns around closing time in the base area and around the top of the Minuteman Express. |
