Comments | Absolutely terrific morning. I gladly paid retail price for the conditions and lack of crowds. Glad the Hornet Double is slow - keeps people away :) Primarily 1 way down from the Eclipse lift - that was fun - excellent corduroy. Best runs were off Hornet. 3 primary ways down with a few variations. I started on Edelweiss because I love that trail - super winding, lots of up and down and just overall super fun. Then, I did Morning Glory/Upper Hornet which had really good natural snow. Sign said experts only - obstacles but there were only a few rocks. Shooting star was pretty fun, too. Lights Out looked kinda icy but it rode pretty well anyway. Super friendly vibe overall, and very polite people working. Got tired after about 3 hours and things were starting to get scraped off. I will definitely go back. |
