Comments | Today was a cold one, but conditions remained good. Swift joined the trail count today, and snowmaking continues on Upper Rapid, Kennebec, & Allagash. Temperatures hovered in the low teens, but a gusty breeze made it feel much colder. This is likely also what caused the mountain to be rather empty for a weekend. After lunch, we swapped out our alpine gear for Nordic equipment. Despite the thin cover, the cross country trails were in quite good shape! Most trails had been recently groomed and there were few obstacles or bare spots to avoid. |
