	Glades	Only a few inches of snow in the woods, but still noticed a few tracks going through Sugar Shack Glades
	Moguls	The only ones I saw were a short stretch on skier’s left of Valley Run but they looked quite icy
	Terrain Park(s)	Big jumps and boardercross course on High Country as well as a small park at the bottom of Lower Periphery. The banked turn course on skier’s left of Valley Run (marked as “FunRun” on the map) is starting to take shape and was open, but is quite small at the moment.

	Comments	I had low expectations for conditions at Waterville Valley yesterday due to not much natural snow since the last warm-up, but it actually ended up being a pretty good day of skiing. The snow was generally a very fine loose granular that felt almost like packed powder at times, though there were some areas that had chunkier frozen granular or boilerplate. They apparently got a dusting of snow overnight which I imagine did a bit to improve the snow surface. Oblivion and No Grit in particular were quite nice, while Lower Tippy had a lot of ice and was a one-and-done. Snowmaking was cranking on True Grit and Lower Bobby’s Run along with a few isolated guns running on Exhibition and Lower White Caps. Race programs were out in full force on skier’s left of High Country and on Upper Sel’s Choice/Tommy’s World Cup Run, although the latter trails opened to the public in the afternoon. The two detachables, High Country, Lower Meadows and the carpets were open, along with the World Cup T-Bar through the early afternoon (though I’m not sure if they were letting the public ride it). The only significant lift lines were for the Tecumseh Express, which maxed out at around 8 minutes. Unfortunately the bubbles on it are looking in rough shape for only being two years old, with a lot of scratches and a few also having cracks, which I’ve never seen on a bubble lift before. At least one bubble even had a hole in it about a foot wide. Weather-wise, it was fairly cold, with temps in the high teens/low 20s at the base, partly cloudy skies and moderate winds. There were a few very light snow showers in the afternoon. I think I skied everything open except the Lower Meadows area, so a solid day in my book.
