Food and Beverage Food and BeverageWe ate at the brew pub in the base lodge (there is a separate food court as well). Chicken tenders, fries, and coleslaw were $13, and they haven't jumped on the ridiculous cashless bandwagon. Impressive! I also heard their Lost Valley beer was good and not overpriced.
Comments CommentsLost Valley has survived the thaw fairly well thus far. Most of the main mountain terrain was open today. They did not groom overnight, so it was boilerplate to start, but things softened up as the sun hit. A few thin spots, but otherwise good coverage. Of the main mountain trails, only Rabbit Run, Fisher, and Otter Slide were closed, the latter two with snowmaking whales waiting to be pushed out. Bull Moose was adventure skiing, as it was firm and the whales had not yet been pushed out.

No snow has been made in the Chair 3 complex, but I suspect they could be heading that way soon. Chairs were being hung on the line this morning, so the lift is nearing completion.

Small area (somewhat reminiscent of King Pine), but there's enough to keep one occupied for a few hours. They've fixed it up a lot since I last skied here about a decade ago. Never a lift line this morning, but a decent crowd of families.
