Comments | Fun afternoon, most people gone by 1:30, this was a chilly day on the mountain. Snow guns blasting at the top of the lift and up to the summit, they are serious about getting the summit open soon. More people today. I rode the lift with people from Boston, Rhode Island and many Cannon skiers. Most thought this was their first weekend open. Oh well, didn't mean to hurt any feelings when I told them Bwoods was open last weekend. The Learning Center Quad will be open all this coming week but the Zephyr Quad will not re-open until Thanksgiving Day. The gondola will open for rides to the Rosebrook Lodge on Friday and they hope to open it to skiers too. I guess we will stay-turned. Hopefully nights will be cold to help out the snowmakers get more trails open. Good fun this afternoon. |
