Comments | Wicked awesome day started out firm at South Peak but it didn't take long to soften up a bit with the sun going in and out it was more corn than frozen granular and it wasn't getting wet! Super conditions and three cheers to the groomers, no bare spots this time of year is wildly nice. Double blacks on south peak never opened, I am guessing patrol didn't want to deal with it too icy in the am and why bother. Sometimes a minute or two lift line and others ski right on. The day got brighter and the mountain views were glorious. After tomorrow they are closing up kanc 8 and south peak. People excited about the eclipse tomorrow, we are headed to Burke tomorrow wish us luck. |
