Comments | Today was closing day at Lost Valley, and it was a perfect bluebird day for it! The same terrain as the end of last week was open (Deer Run, Big Buck, Bobcat, Foxhole, Bear, & Squirrel Run), plus Possum, Rabbit Run, & Porcupine on natural snow with very thin cover. Temperatures were in the 40s, and skies were clear all day, leading to soft spring snow being found across the mountain.
There were lots of people at the mountain to participate in the end of season festivities, but the slopes were never too crowded, and lines were minimal. It's been a tough season, but Lost Valley has made the most of it, and made it longer than most ski areas in the state. |
