Comments CommentsAbsolutely terrific morning!!! Mostly packed powder everywhere!!!! I enjoyed looking for black diamonds and the narrow twisty blue squares. Scamper was a bit too low tide but I was glad they had it open. "Headwall" - aka - Shooting Star steeps were nicely groomed and I had good grip even on the board there. I was hoping some of the skier's right black diamonds were open (such as culmination, forget-me-not, and snap dragon) but they were roped off. The skier's right of mountain (Morning Glory) was pretty icy for a snowboard - lots of wind-blown snow - I couldn't get off that side fast enough!!!!

Lots of people mid-day - parking lot pretty full!!! Around 11 the hornet lift had a line so I went to the triple which never had a line and had better wind protection plus was shorter to ride. Lots of upgrades - seats with padding and wooden backrests were a HUGE improvement!!! I will definitely be back!!!!
