Comments CommentsUnlike Saddleback, Jay is open for the entire weekend.
61/81 trails 9/9 lifts 48-75F, stiff wind in the am. Tram was on hold in the morning.
It was pond skimming day so many people were skiing in costumes or pretty much in their underwear. Elsewhere, shorts, no shirts, bathing suits. It was hot but it never got slushy. Lots of heavy piles of snow though. A lot of areas were scraped down to the hard pack between the bumps. And a few trails had some very narrow spots. I went down JFK thinking I could skirt the sides but ended up walking some. Jet remained good all day. Some were walking down to ski the side of Can Am. Great ski day
