Comments | Had an invitation from a member, so I finally checked out this historic private rope tow area near Brodie. The overnight snow helped to make everything skiable (on rock skis). 2"-3" of wet powder with some existing base (some areas had only grass under the new snow). Nice variety of intermediate terrain. Gradual, narrow novice trails on either side of the area, with some wider intermediates closer to the main rope tow. First time using a Bousquet rope tow gripper; makes riding high-speed rope tows much easier! Fun area with very friendly folks. If I lived within an hour, I would consider getting a membership/season pass. | |
